Since we opened our museum doors in 2015, we have hosted many events and celebrations. We have been twice-selected (2016, 2019) for Nebraska Tourism’s popular, “Passport Program,” which has helped the museum gain popularity and resulted in thousands of visitors from all over the United States and even several countries abroad. In late 2019, Falls City was proclaimed, "City of Art," the first community in the State of Nebraska to be given this title, one that gives us an exciting new focus for the new decade.

MAY 2024: OUR 9TH ANNIVERSARY!!

Thanks to you and your continued interest and support, we are celebrating our ninth anniversary on the corner of 17th & Stone this month!! Our sincere gratitude cannot be expressed in words, so we are hoping you will stop by in person to help us keep John's legacy alive. 

We and four other sites in historic downtown Falls City are participating in the Nebraska State Historical Society Foundation's "WanderNebraska" program and are busily preparing for this summer's visitors.  

Our hours will be Fridays from 1:00 to 4:00 and Saturdays from 11am to 2pm during June, July and August.  You can also call or text Dobey at 402-450-3724 in advance to schedule your visit for other days/times.
